§ 13-29. Powers and duties of health officer.

The city health officer shall have all powers and duties prescribed by the state law and shall enforce the ordinances of the city pertaining to public health. The health officer may request the members of the city police department to assist such health officer and board of health in the enforcement within the city of all public health laws, orders, rules and regulations.
