§ 22-37. Registration of vehicles; number plates.

It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a motor vehicle upon any public street, highway, alley or other thoroughfare within the limits of the city unless such vehicle shall have been properly registered and shall have valid and proper number plates conspicuously displayed, as provided by state law.
