§ 22-368. Stop at dangerous crossings.

  • (a)

    The municipality may designate particularly dangerous highway grade crossings of railroads and erect stop signs thereat.

    (b)

    When stop signs are erected at dangerous railroad crossings, the driver of any vehicle shall stop within 50 feet but not less than 15 feet from the nearest rail of such railroad and shall proceed only upon exercising due care.
