§ 2-226. Firefighters' relief association fund.

There is hereby created a disability and pension fund of the fire department relief association of the city.
(1)

The fund shall consist of such sums of money as may be derived from the levy of an annual tax for that purpose levied by the city as provided for by state law, from donations to the association from any source in land, money or other valuable gifts, and from money received from the state, as provided by law.

(2)

The fund shall be used and disbursed as provided for by the ordinances of the city and the laws of the state.
