§ 5-177. Definitions.

The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

Abutting owner means any owner of property abutting or next to the Miles City Slough.

Miles City Slough means the original Tongue River Channel which traverses the north side of the city, as designated on the flood control map prepared by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers which is on file in the city engineer's office; according to the elevation of 2,343.5 feet as provided by the Corps of Engineers for ponding area elevation.
