§ 3-64. Same—Pumping Plant Park.

(a)

No person shall drink or possess any open container of any alcoholic beverage while within the confines of the property described in exhibit A to Ordinance No. 909, and more particularly known as the Pumping Plant Park, without obtaining permission from the city as set forth in this section.

(b)

Should any person, club, fraternal organization or other group desire to drink or possess any open container of alcoholic beverage within the property described in subsection (a) of this section, said person, club, fraternal organization or other group shall first request permission from the city by making a written request to either the city council or the city police department.

(c)

Violation of this section shall be deemed criminal mischief done knowingly or purposely to interfere with other persons or public property or its use.

(d)

The penalty for violation of this section is prescribed in section 3-57.
